Braille is a tactile writing system used by some Blind people. Do not assume that all Blind people read Braille. Those who do read Braille may not always read it fluently and they may not have learnt the Braille code for more complex material such as formulae.

There are two Braille codes native to the UK which students may use due to a recent change to the Braille code. There exist many more codes internationally.
